Do
I lose control of my data?
Absolutely not. Although your data is stored on equipment that is
owned by Missouri Data Systems, it is still your data. You can move
or copy your files to your local hard drive, delete them, back them
up, etc. You have complete control and unabated access to your data
at all times.

What happens
if my PC or laptop crashes?
Currently,
we are negotiating with local on-site tech support companies to
partner with. At this point, you must rely on your current support
provider to resolve issues not related to E-server. The beauty of
E-Server is you can work from another location such as home or a
different computer and stay productive.

How important
is our Internet connection?
Your
internet connection is critical to accessing your information on
E-Server. Since it is a single point of failure, you may want to
investigate a second option for redundancy purposes. For instance,
if you have a T-1 connection you may want to order DSL service.
If you have DSL service, you may want to look at an alternative
such as dial up or wireless DSL. Internet connections are becoming
more reliable as technology improves. If you experience only one
service interruption every three to four months for short periods,
you may not need to spend the extra 25.00 to 75.00 per month. If
you have frequent problems with your ISP, please research an alternative
or purchase a backup connection from another provider. Before calling
tech support about an outage, first check to see if you can access
your favorite web site to ensure your internet connection is working
properly.

How quickly
can I add an application for a user?
In most
cases, the application can be added within an hour of receiving
the request. A custom application may take longer if it is not already
installed on the server.

New users
can be added within 24 hours. For this reason, it is best to give
us enough notice prior to your new employee starting work.

what I see. How much time will it take to transition to E-Server?
Most
new companies can be set up within 48 hours. Companies with 25 or
more users can take upwards of five business days to allow for appropriate
set up and testing.
